Luke has been my little helper this past week as we've packed up at my parent's house. And by helper I mean he thinks it's fun to pull everything out of the boxes that I have just put in them. I can't really complain though. He is such an easy going little boy (most of the time).
We are going to stay at Michael's parent's next week and then are heading to Telluride for a couple weeks on Sunday. We thought we'd enjoy a couple weeks in the mountains since Michael's done with school next week and we can't move in to our house until May 20th (we closed TODAY btw). The sellers have until the 20th to move out because they haven't bought a house where they're moving yet. Did you catch that? OUR house? I didn't know I would be so excited about closing, but it made everything so much more real. I still can't believe I'm old enough to have a house, OR a baby for that matter. I'm sure it will sink in when we get there. :)
I know I've said it on here before, but mentally preparing for big changes in my life is not something that comes easy for me. I tend to let things just mow me over when they come, but I am praying that the Lord has been discreetly preparing my heart for our new life up north, and trust that He will walk with us as we "set up shop up there."
