Stages of a smile

Luke has been giving us glimpses of his little smile for a few days now but I caught it on camera this afternoon. He is such a cutie and I am so in love!!

Luke is the sweetest baby in the world, but if he wants his paci you better have one ready. As you can see by these pictures it tends to have a sleepy effect on him.

Luke and I have been in The Woodlands for a couple of nights this weekend because Michael is working the night shift at the ER until Monday. It has been really tough to be away from him and I know he is missing his little boy. (and me too, of course!) :) My Auntie Lynn is in town meeting Mr. Luke, and we have had a great time seeing her. 4 weeks old already?

I can't believe how fast time is flying. My baby is four weeks old today!! I am loving every minute learning all about him. He had a tummy ache yesterday and caused for a very trying day for me, I wouldn't trade it for the world though. He really hasn't been much of a crier yet, but yesterday proved it's in there somewhere.

First Bath..

Luke's umbilical cord stump fell off on Saturday. Finally! So we gave him his first real bath. We were excited to see how he would like being in the water. The pictures say it all. He was not too happy with us to say the least. How cute is that big belly?

Uncle Jono came home from OSU to meet Luke this weekend. He was a pro-baby holder and we were so excited to see him.

Luke has surprisingly loud bowel movements for such a little guy and last night we caught it on tape for your viewing pleasure! :) Michael is quite proud.
