On to San Antonio

Next we headed to San Antonio for a week to celebrate the 4th of July and Kristin and Adam's wedding.  It was an awesome week spending time with family and relaxing on Canyon Lake.

We did a whole lot of hanging out on these big, comfy couches

Langley was smitten with Uncle Daniel

 We played indoors and out
Feeding time.  The deer around the house were NOT scared of humans.

Got spoiled rotten by DeeDee and Billy

We celebrated the 4th out on the lake

and Gigi came too!! She sure knows how to rock and sing those babies to sleep.
 Boat hair
Taking four kids, four and under, on the boat is always a good idea.  ;)
This boy LOVED it.
LG did too....some of the time
A little nervous
about skiing for the first time,
but his favorite was tubing.
We did some wake boarding. Michael insisted I put this one up.  I guess this mama still likes to wakeboard.  ;)

Buddies
Luke perfected the belly flop
As you can see we had tons of fun, and we still have another beautiful wedding to recap.   That's coming up next...

Next stop: The Woodlands

From OKC we headed on down to The Woodlands to spend some time there before heading to San Antonio for Kristin and Adam's wedding (which needs a post of it's own).   It was so fun to have an extended amount of time to hang out with family, eat my favorite foods, and see some sweet friends too.

Langley and Noah were inseparable
 Oh Langley
Great Grandaddy and the great grandkids
 The cousins
And baby Blake was there too, kinda.  :)  Val is due in less than a month and we can't wait for him to be here!!!!
 Gearing up for the 4th!

Checking on the baby
Jam session

We got to see a little more of Uncle Matthew, Aunt Lauren, Nana and Papa and Uncle Jord too.
Lauren, the baby whisperer :)
A sprinkler war with Uncle Matthew
Kendall was not lacking in the way of cuddles.  :)
I was so thankful to meet up with my very dear friend from college, Molly and her new baby Emma, at none other than Chickfila.  That was such a treat!   I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of some other sweet visitors from high school but was so thankful for those visits too!

Weekend of weddings

To kick off our road trip we headed to Oklahoma City for Michael's cousin, Jeni's wedding followed by his brother, Jonathan's.  It was a whirlwind of a weekend but we had a blast seeing all of the family and celebrating the two happy couples.  It was so busy that I forgot my camera for Jeni's wedding so I'll just share a plethora from Jono and Sandra's.
Me and my sil, Lauren.  We're so excited Sandra makes sil number 3!!
Luke knew the drill when it came to being ring bearer.  Langley Grace was not so into the flower girl gig
 See...
Yes, this is us walking down the aisle.  Awesome.
It was so fun to meet so many new second cousins.  The Merrick family is exploding.
Papa is quite the entertainer
 Sweet

Langley was quite infatuated with Uncle Matthew
