Weekend fun

We had a ton of fun this past weekend to celebrate that Michael finished his third year of med-school (way to go babe!!!)

On Friday we finally made it over to the zoo. We have lived within five minutes of the Houston zoo since we got married and this was the first time we've gone. Luke's probably still a bit young to enjoy it but he did watch those big animals very intently. Our favorite was the cutest little (relatively speaking) baby elephant named Mac. I can't wait to get a "season pass" with Luke next year when he can enjoy it.

Who knew they had Longhorns at the zoo?

We went to a wedding on Saturday for some sweet friends of ours. It was fun to be out together for a fun evening without the little man although we were excited to get home and see him (even if it was just to watch him sleep :). And Sunday we went to church where Luke went to the nursery for the first time and made some friends, and then we relaxed by the pool. Luke's definitely warming up to the pool and finally started splashing around a little bit too.
